Mobile-enabled remote patient monitoring (RPM) has the potential to increase access to care and improve health outcomes while also reducing hospitalizations and other healthcare-related costs. While RPM has the potential to augment diabetes management, the extent to which RPM programs can improve glycemic outcomes, especially as implemented in real-world clinics, is not well understood.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of RPM pilot programs implemented in diabetes clinics.
